About Splash
Splash is a specialized swim school in the Greater Toronto Area, teaching swimmers of every age and ability. We're known for our adaptive, neurodiverse-affirming approach: we meet each swimmer where they are, build on what they can do, and celebrate every step forward.
None of that happens without our instructors. You're the heart of Splash. We invest in your growth, back you up with a supportive team, and give you the tools and training to do the most meaningful work of your week. What You'll Do
As a Splash instructor, you're the person our families know and trust. You'll plan and lead personalized lessons for swimmers of all ages and abilities, adapting your teaching so each one can succeed. After each lesson, you'll keep thoughtful notes on every swimmer's progress and share clear, encouraging updates with families. When questions or concerns come up, you'll handle what you can and loop in your team lead so nothing falls through the cracks.
Day to day, you'll:
- Lead safe, engaging, high-quality swim lessons
- Create a safe space by spotting hazards early and setting clear, consistent expectations
- Show up prepared and on time, ready to make every lesson count
- Complete skills tracking, report cards, and test sheets carefully and on time
- Give families and swimmers clear, positive feedback during and after lessons
- Care for our equipment and use it creatively to support each swimmer's goals
What You'll Bring
All certifications must be current, or obtained at least 10 days before your first shift.
- National Lifeguard
- Standard First Aid with CPR-C
- Previous instructing experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train you in the Splash approach.
